Ayushmann Khurrana joins Har Ghar Tiranga celebration for Independence Day

Shillong, August 15: Renowned Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has been enlisted by the Ministry of Culture to participate in the Independence Day celebrations. Ayushmann is supporting the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a government endeavor commemorating India’s 75 years of Independence and its rich heritage.

As per IANS, recognizing Ayushmann’s impactful and socially relevant contributions through his work, the Ministry of Culture views him as an esteemed icon. Ayushmann expressed his humility and enthusiasm for being involved in the government’s Independence Day festivities, emphasizing his admiration for India’s unity in diversity.

The actor shared a video on Twitter encouraging citizens to proudly wave the tricolor and embrace unity on this historic day. Ayushmann’s upcoming project, ‘Dream Girl 2,’ serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film ‘Dream Girl.’ The film’s storyline revolves around Karam, a small-town resident facing financial challenges while navigating comedic situations due to his alter ego, Pooja.
