Shillong, August 25: The upcoming action-thriller film ‘Jawan,’ helmed by Director Atlee, has captured significant attention in the realm of Bollywood 2023 releases.
As per IANS, the anticipation escalated when superstar Shah Rukh Khan revealed his new look in the trailer. Adding to the excitement, both Atlee and SRK released a fresh motion poster for the movie on Friday. This poster uniquely showcases five distinct faces of the actor, each carrying its own narrative.
Sharing the motion poster on his Instagram, SRK captioned it: “The Many Faces of Justice…yeh teer hai..abhi dhal baaki hai..yeh anth hai abhi kaal baaki hai. Yeh poochta hai khud se kuch…abhi Jawaab baaki hai (The Many Faces of Justice…This is an arrow..Now a spear is remaining…This is the end, right now death awaits. This is something you ask of yourself…Right now the answer still remains).”
He went on: “There’s a purpose and meaning behind every Face. But this is just the beginning…Wait for the Ace!!! “#Jawan releasing worldwide on September 7, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.”
Atlee, in his caption for the motion poster, wrote: “Behind each face, lies a story of its own. #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.”
While the true stories behind each face remain speculative, the initial face depicts SRK in a solemn, bald appearance, adorned with bandages reminiscent of a warrior, poised to strike with a spear.
The second face showcases a grounded SRK with hair, embodying the demeanor of a senior intelligence officer or commander. The third features him in his current appearance, a shadowy fighter traversing through blazing flames.
The fourth presents a cybernetic masked countenance, intriguingly eerie, with an image of a soldier brandishing a firearm below.
The fifth, the much-discussed bald look, shows SRK dancing within a Metro compartment in a strikingly unconventional manner, capturing the attention of onlookers who are left pondering the spectacle.
Beneath this, an underground rail line comes into view, with a Metro train passing through it. Each image is accompanied by the movie’s captivating background music.
Undoubtedly, ‘Jawan’ ranks among the most anticipated Bollywood films of 2023, sharing the limelight with ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Gadar 2.’ The buzz is heightened by the fact that the Atlee-directed project holds the status of a pan-Indian feature.
While SRK is undoubtedly a major draw, the film boasts an ensemble cast from South Indian cinema, including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, and Yogi Babu. The Bollywood sphere contributes its own luminaries such as Sunil Grover and Sanya Malhotra. Additionally, the film features special appearances by Deepika Padukone and Thalapathy Vijay.
