Retired Justice Mool Chand Garg to head panel to review Reservation Policy

Shillong, August 25: The State Cabinet today approved the constitution of an expert committee to review the State Reservation Policy. The committee will be headed by former Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court Justice Retd. Mool Chand Garg as the chairman.

The members will be Justice Retd Satish Chandra former Judge of Allahabad High Court, Prof D V Kumar, professor department of Sociology NEHU, Prof Chander Shekhar, Indian Institute of political science and Prof Subhadip Mukherjee, Assistant professor of IIM Shillong.

The committee will visit different locations to solicit views and it has been given 12 months’  time to give its  recommendations
