Shillong, August 27: On her 43rd birthday, Farhan Akhtar, the actor and filmmaker, shared warm birthday wishes for his wife, Shibani Dandekar, an actress, model, and host, with a heartfelt message, “may you always have reasons to smile.”
Shibani, renowned for her role as Sushmita Sengupta in the web series ‘Four More Shots Please!’, celebrates her special day on Sunday.
As per IANS, Farhan took to Instagram to post a candid, affectionate snapshot of himself with Shibani. In the picture, Shibani is seen laughing heartily while Farhan appears to be sharing a lighthearted moment.
Shibani sports a beige and black checkered suit paired with pants and carries a red handbag, while Farhan dons a white formal shirt, a blue coat, and matching trousers.
In the photograph taken on a street, Shibani is seen holding Farhan’s hand. The 49-year-old actor captioned the post, “Happy birthday partner .. may life give you all you want and more .. may you always have reasons to smile .. (but enough about me) .. love you loads. Shibani responded to her husband’s post, expressing her love, “I love you so much! Thank you for the best gift in the world! You!” accompanied by a red heart emoji.
Farhan and Shibani commenced their relationship in 2018 and tied the knot on February 19, 2022, at Farhan’s Khandala farmhouse.
Previously, Farhan was married to Adhuna Bhabani. The former couple has two daughters, Shakya and Akira. They announced their separation on January 21, 2016, after 16 years of marriage.
In terms of their professional ventures, multi-talented artist Farhan, known for directing ‘Don’ (2006) and ‘Don 2’ (2011), both featuring Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan, has announced the third installment, ‘Don 3’. This time, the lead role will be portrayed by Ranveer Singh, succeeding SRK. The film, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, is set to commence work in 2025.
Meanwhile, Shibani was recently seen as Aditi in the second season of the romantic drama ‘Made In Heaven’, produced by Excel Entertainment. The series delves into the lives of Tara Khanna (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Karan Mehra (Arjun Mathur), two wedding planners in Delhi running an agency named ‘Made in Heaven’.
