Shillong, August 27: Actress Kangana Ranaut expressed admiration for India’s accomplished women scientists from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), lauding their role in the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission.
As per IANS, she described them as the embodiment of “simple living and high thinking,” showcasing a photo of the ISRO scientists in traditional Indian attire on her Instagram Stories.
The Chandrayaan-3 mission achieved a soft landing on the Moon’s South Pole. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also declared that the landing site would be named “Shiv Shakti Point,” and the day of Vikram Lander’s touchdown (August 23) will be celebrated as “National Space Day” in India.
Kangana’s upcoming projects include ‘Chandramukhi 2’ and Sarvesh Mewara’s ‘Tejas,’ scheduled for release on October 20.
