JOWAI, Aug 30: Karbi Student Association (KSA), on Wednesday, accepted the offer of negotiations made by Jaintia Students’ Movement (JSM) in a bid to reintroduce harmony and mutual understanding between the Pnar and Karbi communities along the interstate border.
It may be mentioned that the situation along the Assam-Meghalaya border in East Jaintia Hills had become slightly turbulent recently.
The venue for the negotiation will be at Diphu town, Karbi Anglong District, in Assam, JSM leader Leningstar Rymbai said.
