Shillong, September 4: During an ‘Ask SRK’ session on X, netizens raised questions about the authenticity of the advance booking numbers for the film ‘Jawan’ and received a witty response from superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

As per IANS, one user asked, “How much of the ‘Jawan’ advance booking numbers are real and how much is fake?”

In response, Shah Rukh Khan advised, “Don’t talk rubbish about these social media things. Have positive thoughts and good feelings for all. It’s better for life.”

There have been doubts about the reported numbers for both ticket bookings and box office figures since the release of ‘Pathaan,’ as some observed discrepancies between theater bookings and the film’s PR-provided numbers.

In the midst of high anticipation for the movie, one netizen even asked SRK for free tickets, to which he humorously replied, “I offer love for free, brother… you’ll have to pay for the tickets! Don’t be stingy in romance; go and buy the ticket and take her with you.”

Shah Rukh Khan also expressed gratitude for the immense love shown for the movie in Chennai and Kathmandu, Nepal.

When asked about his favorite look in ‘Jawan,’ SRK replied, “I like all looks; you see the film and tell me your favorite.”

The advance booking for ‘Jawan’ began on September 1 and reportedly saw nearly 4 lakh ticket sales, as announced by the actor on his X handle. With the film being touted as one of the biggest pan-Indian releases of 2023, it is expected to be a significant game-changer for Indian cinema.

Directed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ features Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance), Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover. It is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The ‘Jawan’ trailer was released on August 31, and the film is set to hit theaters in September 2023.
