Lajong sign Senegal striker Karim Samb

SHILLONG, Sep 5: Shillong Lajong Football Club announced the signing of Senegalege striker El Hadji Abdou Karim Samb for the highly upcoming I-League season.
Karim Samb’s arrival promises to ignite the field with his exceptional talent and extensive international experience.
The 27-year-old striker’s football journey has seen him make an impact in various countries, including Turkey, Beirut, Morocco, Lebanon, and Libya.
He led ASC Jaraaf to victory in the 2016 first division league in Senegal, while clinching the Best Player Award.
The following year, the Senegalese international once again showcased his prowess by securing the 1st division championship with Jarraf, where he emerged as the second-highest goal scorer, further solidifying his reputation as a goal-scoring sensation.
Karim Samb’s signing marks Shillong Lajong’s second international addition for the upcoming season, following the recent announcement of Brazilian defender Daniel Goncalves.
