SHILLONG, Sep 9: The mobile network in different areas of the state including Shillong is going from bad to worse.
While travelling on Guwahat-Shillong road in Ri Bhoi, people are said to be not getting jio network for quite some time now in a long stretch and people get network once they enter Jorabat and Khanapara. Recently, some NGOs also closed down the tower of Jio in the state for failing to provide satisfactory services.
Even in Shillong in certain areas, it is getting difficult for jio subscribers to make a simple call.
Even in far-flung areas of Karbi Anglong in Assam, people can upload their long files without a wifi, but uploading a file here in Shillong without a wifi becomes almost impossible.
