Shillong, September 10: A moment of pride for Aman Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of boAt, the homegrown consumer electronics brand, as he witnessed UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wearing his company’s headphones during a meeting in the capital.

As per IANS, during his visit to India for the G20 Summit, Sunak, accompanied by his wife Akshata Murthy, took time to engage with students at the British Council of India. To the delight of many, Sunak shared pictures on Instagram of his interactions at the British Council, where he was seen using boAt headphones while engaging with children.

In response to this, Gupta expressed his enthusiasm by saying, “Bharat mein aapka boAt boAt Swaagat,” and shared a screenshot of Sunak sporting the boAt headphones.

During his visit to the capital, Sunak also expressed confidence in securing a free trade deal with India, although he acknowledged that there is still significant work to be done in this regard.

Aman Gupta is no stranger to such prestigious encounters. He was part of the official delegation during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit to France in July, where he had the opportunity to speak about ‘Make In India’ and Indian startups at the Indo-French CEO Forum.

Moreover, Gupta and his wife, Priya Dagar, graced the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in May of this year, marking a significant achievement as the first Indian entrepreneur to do so at this esteemed event.
