Beyonce celebrates 42nd b’day
Popstar Beyonce, celebrated her birthday with style and in sweetness, as the 42 year-old took a break from her Renaissance World Tour to enjoy a family vacation in French Polynesia. A source told People magazine that the pop superstar was “enjoying a beautiful family vacation to celebrate her birthday. It was a nice break for Beyonce”, the source added, saying: “The tour has been intense. She needed to recharge for a few days.” The Grammy-winning singer went to this family vacation with her husband JAY-Z, 53, along with daughters Blue Ivy, 11, and twins, daughter Rumi and son Sir, 6, in French Polynesia. The insider adds that the family “rented several private villas” and spent a great deal of quality time together. (IANS)

 

Netflix renews One Piece for S2
Popular adventure series One Piece will be returning for a second season, Netflix announced on Friday. Eiichiro Oda, executive producer of the show and creator of the original Japanese manga One Piece, announced the new season in a special video message shared by the streaming platform. “It seems people around the world have been enjoying the show, which makes the hard work from the production team truly worth it. To everyone who’s been a fan of One Piece for years, and to those who experienced One Piece for the first time, thank you so much. “Two weeks after the launch, I just received some great news: Netflix has decided to renew the show! The adventures of Inaki and the live-action Straw Hats will continue onward! It’ll still take a while to get the scripts ready, so please be patient. From here on, it seems to me the Straw Hats will need a great doctor. We will see!” Oda said in the clip. (PTI)

 

Disney+Hotstar announces Sultan of Delhi with Milan Luthria as director
Filmmaker Milan Luthria is set to make his series directorial debut with Sultan of Delhi, Disney+ Hotstar announced on Friday. Based on the book, Sultan of Delhi: Ascension by Arnab Ray, the series set in the 1960s is produced by Reliance Entertainment. It will be co-directed and co-written by Suparn Verma. The show stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anjum Sharma, Vinay Pathak, Nishant Dahiya, Anupriya Goenka, Mouni Roy, Harleen Sethi and Mehreen Pirzada. Luthria said Sultan of Delhi traces the journey of Arjun Bhatia (Bhasin) and explores a tale of ‘greed, betrayal, courage and the ultimate fight for power.’ Sultan of Delhi is my first web series.
