JOWAI, Sep 18: The Meghalaya People United Front (MPUF) East Jaintia Hills has given a two-day deadline to a shoe trader in Khliehriat West to vacate the premises owing to his allegedly surly and spiteful behaviour towards customers, especially tribals.
The MPUF has notified the shoe trader to depart within the stipulated time.
In the wake of this, the organisation has asked the JHADC to conduct a checking of trading licences.
