Nongstoin: After The Shillong Times had carried the news regarding the absence of Mathematics teacher in Sibsing Memorial Government Higher Secondary School which has raised concern among the students especially those from Class IX and Class X and has disrupted the continuity of lessons and studies, the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), Nongstoin Circle today through the Education Cell has raised their demand to the Education Department to appoint the Mathematics Teacher at the earliest.
The KSU has also found out that the Principal of the School Smt.D.Hoojon took charge for the post of DSEO, SDSEO and Joint Director of Education Department which is a burden for her to handle the responsibility as the Principal of the School.
The Education Cell of KSU Robertgill Khardewsaw has, therefore, strongly demanded the education department to change this type of system which has affected the education sector in the district and the state.
