Shillong, September 22: The picturesque city of Udaipur is poised to host the wedding of AAP MP Raghav Chadha and Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra at the exquisite Leela Palace.

The couple, along with their families and friends, will arrive at Udaipur airport on Friday, commencing the wedding festivities leading up to the grand event on September 24.

As per IANS, security measures are paramount for this royal celebration, with the deployment of 100 private security guards. Given the unique location of the Leela Palace, situated in the middle of Lake Pichola, security personnel will be stationed on four to five boats in the heart of the lake. Special security arrangements have also been made at the jetty, the platform leading to the boats.

The guest list includes prominent political figures such as Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, and other politicians from across the country. The Chief Ministers of Delhi and Punjab are scheduled to arrive in Udaipur on Saturday evening. Additionally, Parineeti’s cousin, actress Priyanka Chopra, along with her husband Nick Jonas, and numerous Bollywood celebrities will grace the occasion.

Sources have confirmed that notable personalities like Karan Johar, tennis player Sania Mirza, and designer Manish Malhotra will also attend the Udaipur wedding on Saturday.

In anticipation of the event, special precautions have been taken to ensure that photos and videos of the celebration remain private. Mobile cameras of attendees entering the hotel will be affixed with blue tape, preventing them from capturing photographs or videos during the wedding ceremony. Notably, this unique tape reveals an arrow symbol if removed, allowing security personnel to detect any unauthorized camera usage.

This restriction applies not only to guests but also to hotel staff, including those involved in tent setup, decorations, sound systems, and culinary services.
