From Our Correspondent MAWKYRWAT, Sep 24: Locals found a highly decomposed body of a man at Riat Thawlong near Mawkyrwat Market lying on a steep cliff 20 metre away from the road. The body was identified as that of one Hopewelson Turnia (38), who hailed from Ngunraw village, 25 km from Mawkyrwat, but his family lived in Mawlangwir village, a kilometre’s distance from Mawkyrwat.  Family members said that he was last seen four days ago, but it did not worry them since he stayed both at Ngunraw as well as Mawlangwir, and it was only on Sunday morning that they began searching for him after they learned that he was at neither of the two villages. After being informed about body, the police immediately rushed to the spot and accordingly inquest was conducted. The cadaver was forwarded to Civil Hospital Mawkyrwat for post-mortem examination.
