NBT to organise Shillong Book Fair from Sept 27

Shillong, Sept 26: National Book Trust (NBT), India (Ministry of Education, Govt. of India) will organize the Shillong Book Fair 2023 at the State Central Library  from September 27 to October.

The book fair is being organized in collaboration with Department of Arts & Culture and Education Department, Govternment of Meghalaya

The week-long Shillong Book Fair is a tribute to Meghalaya’s rich literary and cultural heritage, often referred to as the “Abode of Clouds.

While addressing reporters about the event at the Shillong Press Club, NBT director, Youvraj Malik said that the fair will showcase a diverse collection of books, including the works of local authors and regional literature spanning various genres.
