Jubilee
The diamond jubilee celebration of College of Teacher Education (PGT) will be held on the premises of the institute on Tuesday at 11 am. Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma will attend the inauguration programme, a statement here informed.
NCC training
A ten-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-63) organised by the 41 Meghalaya Bn NCC under the aegis of NCC Group Shillong, is currently underway at the ISBT Building at Chasingre near Tura. The training camp began on September 18 and will conclude on September 27.
Awareness prog
Ieng Rasong Sports Social and Cultural Club in collaboration with YES Meghalaya will be organising an awareness programme on drug abuse and its menace to the society at the Community Hall, Nongmynsong on October 3, at 2 pm. Cabinet Minister A L Hek will be the chief guest of the programme.
