Britney Spears was showcasing her enthusiasm for knives with a bizarre new dangerous knife dance, which caused many to fear that she would badly injure herself. Those fears were partly recognised as the pop-star did indeed harm herself and was spotted with bandages on her arms as well as some scratches. The 41-year-old Oops I did it again hitmaker was seen sporting a white bandage around her arm, scratches from what look like cut marks as well as having what looks like a cut on her thigh while dancing around in a polka-dot crop top and a pair of white bikini bottoms in her living room, Aceshowbiz reported. Actress Alia Bhatt, who recently announced her production venture Jigra in which she will also be seen playing the title role, says turned producer to tell stories that evoke emotions and leave an impact. Alia launched her own production company named Eternal Sunshine Productions in early 2019. Her first film as a producer was Darlings, which released in 2020 and also stars Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah in the lead. With Jigra being her second production, Alia said: “I turned producer with Eternal Sunshine to tell some of these stories, ones that evoke emotions and leave an impact.”(IANS)
Joan Collins does not use facial procedures due to needle-phobic
Veteran actress Joan Collins, who is best known for roles in the Academy Award nominated film The Virgin Queen, Seven Thieves as well as her roles in several iconic serials such as the Man From Uncle and Mission Impossible series, has said that she doesn’t use facial procedures as she is needle-phobic. The 90-year old English actress and author in an interview with The Guardian, opened up about the skincare tips she lives by and revealed why she has never had any cosmetic procedures. “I’ve had nothing done”, she told the outlet when complimented on her skin. “I couldn’t do all that. First of all, I’m needle-phobic. It was my mother who told me to moisturise and use night cream,” according to People magazine. (IANS)
Shakira accused of tax crimes
for the second time
Colombian singing star Shakira has once again been charged with tax evasion by the
Spanish government. Prosecutors in Spain claim Shakira defrauded the state of $7.1million in 2018 after she allegedly failed to declare millions in advance payments for her “El Dorado” world tour, among other payments, reports aceshowbiz.com. The charges are due to the fact Shakira was living with then-partner Gerard Pique and their two sons in Barcelona in 2018 and therefore was required to tax her international revenue there, but she is accused of having instead divert her money to “companies domiciled in countries with low taxation and high opacity.” The news comes ahead of Shakira going on trial over six separate alleged tax crimes in the Spanish city this November, having been accused of failing to pay $1,53,10,840 in tax between 2012 and 2014.
