RJD leader shot dead in Bihar’s Begusarai district

Shillong, September 28: In a tragic incident, an RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) leader named Anirudha Chaudhary was fatally shot by unidentified assailants in Masudanpur Diyara, located in Bihar’s Begusarai district.

The incident occurred at around 1 am while Anirudha Chaudhary was sleeping outside his residence, and he succumbed to the gunshot wounds inflicted by the assailants.

As per IANS, Vivekanand Chaudhary, a relative of the deceased, expressed that Anirudha had no known disputes or enmities with anyone. He emphasized that the attack was unexpected and unprovoked. The family has reported the incident to the local police station in Balia.

Anirudha Chaudhary was an active RJD leader at the block level in the region.

This tragic incident follows another recent attack on a political leader in Bihar when, on the previous day, a Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) leader was gunned down by four assailants riding bikes in Gaya district.
