Shillong, September 29: In the women’s 10m air pistol individual event at the 19th Asian Games, Indian shooters Palak and Esha Singh displayed exceptional skill.
As per IANS, Palak, at 17 years old, not only secured the gold medal but also set a new Asian Games record with a winning score of 241.2. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Esha Singh earned the silver medal with a score of 239.7.
Earlier in the day, the talented duo was part of the women’s 10m air pistol team that secured a silver medal, showcasing their prowess and teamwork.
Esha’s success continued at the continental event, marking her fourth medal. She claimed a silver medal in the women’s individual 25m pistol event and, alongside teammates Manu Bhaker and Rhythm Sangwan, clinched the gold medal in the women’s 25m pistol team event. Their achievements highlight their remarkable talent in the world of shooting.
