Pakistani star Mahira Khan ties the knot with businessman Salim Karim

Shillong, October 2: Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, famous for her role alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the 2017 Indian film ‘Raees,’ has entered into wedlock with her longtime beau, businessman Salim Karim.

As per IANS, Mahira’s wedding took place over the weekend, marking her second marriage. Her first marriage was in 2007 to Ali Askari, but the couple separated in 2015. They have a 13-year-old son named Azlan.

A heartwarming video shared by Mahira’s manager, Maliha Rehman, captures the actress in a stunning ivory pastel lehenga, veiled with a long train. As she approaches her emotional groom, he lifts her veil and gazes at his bride with love before embracing her.

Maliha captioned the video with well-wishes for the couple, saying, “Love and prayers for #MahiraKhan and #SalimKarim, seen in this beautiful little video from their wedding. May their life ahead be filled with happiness.”

Mahira Khan began her career as a VJ in 2006 and is best known for her role as Khirad Hussain in the romantic-drama ‘Humsafar.’

She made her big-screen debut opposite Atif Aslam in the romance ‘BoL’ and has appeared in successful Pakistani films such as ‘Bin Roye,’ ‘Ho Mann Jahaan,’ and ‘Superstar.’ Additionally, she ventured into production with the sports web series ‘Baarwan Khiladi.’
