Shillong, October 3: The creators of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Thalaivar 170’ made an exciting announcement on Tuesday, unveiling the star-studded cast, which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fassil, and Rana Daggubati.
As per IANS, earlier, they had introduced the leading ladies of the movie, featuring Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, and Manju Warrier.
Taking to social media, Lyca Productions shared captivating black and white photos of the star cast.
For Amitabh, they expressed their enthusiasm, saying, “Welcoming the Shahenshah of Indian cinema Mr. Amitabh Bachchan on board for #Thalaivar170. #Thalaivar170Team reaches new heights with the towering talent of the one & only @amitabhbachchan.”
As for Rana, they wrote, “Welcoming the dapper & supercool talent Mr. Rana Daggubati on board for #Thalaivar170! #Thalaivar170Team has gotten even more charismatic with the addition of the dashing @ranadaggubati.”
They also extended a warm welcome to Fahadh Faasil, stating, “Welcoming the incredibly versatile talent Mr. Fahadh Faasil on board for #Thalaivar170! #Thalaivar170Team gains a powerful new addition with the astonishing performer #FahadhFaasil joining them.”
The film is produced by Subaskaran and directed by TJ Gnanavel. The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who is currently enjoying the success of his recent releases, including the Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Jailer’ and the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Jawaan’.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s most recent appearance was in the action-comedy film ‘Jailer,’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. The film also featured Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Tamannaah, Sunil, Mirnaa Menon, and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.
He is set to make a cameo appearance in ‘Lal Salaam,’ a film written and directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner Lyca Productions. The movie stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan has ‘The Umesh Chronicles’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ lined up for his future projects.
