NESSDU
Anthea Jana and Pratham Gurung both from Shillong have been elected as women’s coordinator and joint secretary (North) respectively in the North East Students Society Delhi University (NESSDU) elections held at Nagaland House recently. The duo is the first students from Meghalaya to contest in the NESSDU elections and emerge victorious. Jana is pursuing her final year degrees at Hansraj College while Gurung from Kirori Mal College Delhi University.

Gratitude
The Eid Milad Un Nabi Celebration Committee, Shillong has expressed its gratitude to all the participants and their co-operation during the Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (Birth Anniversary of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad S A W) peace procession. They also extended their gratefulness to the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Superintendent of Police, In-charge Lumdiengiri and Laban Traffic Branch, and Jhalupara Police Outpost, and Madina Masjid Dhobimohalla, Shillong for co-operation and security arrangement.
