Climbing trials postponed due to bad weather

Shillong, Oct 6: In a recent announcement by the Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MSCMA), the eagerly anticipated State Level Sport Climbing Selection Trials, originally slated for today, have been deferred due to adverse weather conditions.
The decision comes on the heels of the trials’ commencement on Friday on the Artificial Climbing Wall of the 58 Gorkha Training Centre in Happy Valley.
The trials, which attracted significant attention from climbers and enthusiasts, experienced an unexpected twist as inclement weather forced organizers to prioritize participant safety. MSCMA officials have ensured that the event will be rescheduled for a future date to allow for a fair and secure competition.
