‘Walk for Freedom’ to combat human trafficking

SHILLONG, Oct 13: To raise awareness about human trafficking and modern-day slavery, ‘Walk for Freedom 2023’ will be organise from Sankerdev College here and 100 other locations at 10 am on October 14. The ‘Walk for Freedom’ led by Sankardev College, is one of three Walks in Shillong this year and is made possible by the coming together of the colleges, corporates and civil society community members, such as NGO Faith Foundation. It is being hosted for the third time in Shillong.
