Shillong, Oct 20: Uplifter Alternative, a prominent community organization, is all set to mark its 25th year of service with a special event. The organization will launch its silver jubilee celebrations with the inaugural 2-Day Khasi Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament 2024, slated to take place at Madan Nongthymmai, Lawjynriew, Shillong.
The much-anticipated tournament is scheduled to kick off on the 21st of October and will continue through to the 23rd of October, 2023, making it a thrilling two-day sporting spectacle. This celebration of sportsmanship will exclusively feature participants from the Khasi community.
Uplifter Alternative’s decision to host this unique cricket tournament exclusively for Khasis reflects their commitment to fostering community unity and celebrating the rich heritage and sporting traditions of the Khasi people.
