The current rate of commercial cylinder (19 Kg) for Xtratej is Rs 1,985 and for normal (regular) cylinder is Rs 1,962.50, a statement from the deputy commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills informed here on Friday.
Dry days
Dry days have been declared in East Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills on October 23 and 24 on account of Durga Puja, official statements from the district administration of both the districts informed here. All IMFL licensed premises (wholesale, retail sale), home delivery, bars, canteens, country spirit shops including out stills shall remain closed on the above-mentioned date.
Rice released
Rice for AAY, PHH and Non-NFSA beneficiaries under Tura Sadar Division under NFSA and Non-NFSA beneficiaries for October has been released. All Fair Price Shop dealers are directed to issue rice as per government prescribed scale.
