SHILLONG, Oct 31: Electoral rolls for the constituencies of East Khasi Hills have been prepared by the Electoral Registration Officers of the respective constituencies. A copy of the rolls has been made available for inspection at the office of the District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills, Office of the Sub Divisional Officer (Election), Sohra, and in all Block Development Offices as well as at the concerned Polling Stations.
The Assembly constituencies include Mawryngkneng, Pynthorumkhrah, Mawlai, East Shillong, North Shillong, West Shillong, South Shillong, Mylliem, Nongthymmai, Nongkrem, Sohiong, Mawphlang, Mawsynram, Shella, Pynursla, Sohra and Mawkynrew.
The qualifying date for the preparation of the electoral roll is January 1, 2024.
Any claim for the inclusion of a name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of name or any objection to particulars in any entry can be made on or before December 9, 2023.
