Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3 to release a day prior overseas
Superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming actioner Tiger 3 is all set to release in overseas territories on November 11, a day prior to its release in India. Tiger 3 will release on November 11 in overseas territories owing to exhibitors‘ demands based on advance sales and no Pre-Diwali effect in these markets. International territories, starting with Middle East and all western markets, will release Tiger 3 timed to 9 p.m. IST on November 11. Asia Pacific and Australia and New Zealand markets will open on November 12. The film will also be screened from 7 a.m. morning on November 12 in India and the advance booking opens on November 5. Tiger 3 is the fifth film in the blockbuster YRF Spy Universe which follows the events of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Pathaan. The film, which also stars Emraan Hashmi and Katrina Kaif, is directed by Maneesh Sharma. (IANS)

 

Zayn Malik gets flak over Halloween post, keeping mum about Palestine
Singer-actor Zayn Malik shared a picture of himself dressing as an iconic Harry Potter character and got criticised by Internet users. The Pillow Talk hitmaker was unrecognisable as he transformed into Lord Voldemort from J.K. Rowling’s best-selling Harry Potter novels. The 30-year-old wore a bald prosthetic head featuring Voldemort’s snake-like nose as well as the character’s signature black gown. ‘Happy Halloween,’ he captioned the post. Fans, however, slammed the singer, who is of Pakistani descent, for staying silent on the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict as Israel continues its attack on Gaza strip. “Sir people are dying in Palestine this is what you’re posting,” one said in the comments section. Some others echoed the sentiment by commenting: “Free Palestine.” On the other hands, some fans praised Zayn for nailing the Voldemort costume. (IANS)

 

Shooting complete for Hrithik and Deepika-starrer Fighter
Director Siddharth Anand on Wednesday announced that the filming on his upcoming directorial Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, is complete. Touted as India’s first aerial action magnum opus, the film also stars Anil Kapoor. It is scheduled to hit the screens on January 25, 2024. Anand, known for blockbusters such as “Pathaan” and “War”, shared the update on his Instagram Story. “And it’s a film shoot wrap on #FIGHTER !” the filmmaker shared a picture from the film sets. The motion poster of “Fighter” was released on Independence Day 2023, which provided the first glimpse at the three actors, who play Indian Air Force (IAF) officers in the movie. The film reunites Roshan with Anand after “Bang Bang!” and “War”. It is the second project for Padukone and the director following Pathaan. (IANS)

 

Janhvi Kapoor wraps up Goa schedule for NTR Jr-starrer Devara
Actress Janhvi Kapoor has wrapped up the Goa schedule of NTR Jr’s film Devara: Part 1 directed by Koratala Siva. The actor was shooting in Goa along with co-stars NTR Jr and Saif Ali Khan. As the Goa schedule came to an end, Janhvi Kapoor took to her social media to share her fondness for the Devara team, also introducing her character, Thangam. In the picture shared, she is seen donning a simple traditional green and blue saree. Her caption reads: “Missing the set, the team, and embracing the role of Thangam. #Devara.” Devara is produced by Yuvasu dha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyana Ram with Part 1 releasing across India on 5 April, 2024.
