Spouse stabbing case: No arrest yet, say police

SHILLONG, Nov 2: Police have said that Suresh P Singh, who is suspected of stabbing his wife Poonam Singh in the abdomen on October 31, is still absconding.
The woman is receiving care at Shillong Civil Hospital.
When contacted, Superintendent of Police (City), Vivek Syiem said that they are yet to arrest the husband.
Earlier, the Laban police had registered a case following the victim’s FIR.
