SHILLONG, Nov 4: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is celebrating its diamond jubilee with a special outreach programme – North Eastern Region Car Rally from November 6 to 26.
According to a statement here, the car rally will be flagged off from Shillong to Guwahati to celebrate 75 years of the NCC.
The grand event is set to bring together a diverse and enthusiastic group with 277 Schools, 151 Colleges, and 44 districts from across six states.
‘It is a celebration of unity, leadership, and patriotism, all in the spirit of NCC’s values’.
The event aims to foster camaraderie among the youth, inspire them towards leadership, and instill a deep sense of patriotism.
As the NCC has consistently stood for these values over its 75-year history, the event serves as a testament to its enduring mission, the statement said.
