SWKH woman earns laurels at Mrs NE India

SHILLONG, Nov 11: Greatmercy Langte who hails from Domsohkhai-Nongnah village in South West Khasi Hills bagged the title of Spark Mrs Northeast India 2023.
The event was held in Guwahati earlier this month.
Greatmercy Langte is the daughter of Kasmutia Langte and Sranningstar Paliar. She was among the eight contestants who were adjudged as winners in the Category A and B (age wise).
Greatmercy won the crown of Mrs Northeast India Brand Ambassador (WINNER) Print Model.
Speaking to reporters, she said she was elated at becoming one of the winners of the contest.
In her message to the youths, Greatmercy said nothing is impossible if one focuses on what they want to achieve.
“We need to be patient to reach our goal. We should not give up when things are taking shape as expected,” she added.
It may be recalled that Greatmercy Langte had also bagged the ‘Best Performance of the Day’ (singing category) at the Meghalaya Superstar Season-2 in 2016. Greatmercy was adjudged as the ‘Miss Popular’ at the ‘Fashion Wizard Mega Model Hunt 2019’ and she had also won the ‘Miss India’s Goodness Ambassador’ at the ‘Miss India Black Carpet 2019’.
She also participated in the Loreal Hair Show, which was held at Hotel Radisson Blu, Guwahati, in 2019. Greatmercy was also among the finalists at the Mrs Super Mom 2023.
It may the mentioned that she is a member of the All Meghalaya Dancer Association (AMDA).
