Jowai, Nov 13: In a collaborative effort between the District Sports Officer (DSO) of West Jaintia Hills District (WJHD) and the West Jaintia District Sports Association, Jowai, plans are underway for the highly anticipated Open Volleyball Championship 2023.
The event is set to showcase the athletic prowess of both men and women, promising an exhilarating competition during the months of November and December.
All sports enthusiasts, including sports clubs, schools, and colleges within West Jaintia Hills District, are enthusiastically invited to participate in this thrilling tournament.
The deadline for entry submissions has been extended to November 16, 2023, providing potential participants with an extended opportunity to register their teams. Interested individuals can obtain the entry forms from the office of the DSO during regular office hours.
The competition’s date and venue will be communicated to participants at a later time, building anticipation among players and fans alike. This championship promises to be a celebration of athleticism, skill, and sportsmanship, highlighting the vibrant sports culture within West Jaintia Hills District.
