Israeli forces uncover tunnels and weapons in Gaza hospitals

Shillong, November 17: Israeli forces intensify searches in Gaza hospitals, discovering an underground tunnel beneath Al-Shifa, the largest hospital.

As per IANS, vehicles with ammunition and a complex tunnel network are found at Rantisi Hospital. The IDF retrieves the remains of Yehudit Weiss near Al-Shifa. Troops encounter resistance, storming hospital departments, affecting patients and medical services.

Gaza faces critical shortages amid Israeli restrictions on essential supplies, resulting in a blackout and limited medical response. Hamas claims responsibility for a checkpoint shooting, escalating tensions.

Israeli airstrikes target Hamas leaders, while the military asserts control over Al-Shati refugee camp and Gaza’s harbor. Humanitarian concerns rise as the Palestinian Red Crescent Society struggles to respond amid a siege on Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.
