Ranbir Kapoor wishes for a cameo role in Prabhas-starrer Spirit
Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor has expressed his desire to make a small appearance in Prabhas’ highly awaited movie Spirit. In a recent promotional event for his much-anticipated film Animal, Ranbir opened up about his admiration for the Telugu superstar. When asked to name someone from the Telugu film industry he is friends with, Ranbir promptly mentioned Prabhas. The Brahmastra actor expressed his interest in playing a small role in Spirit, the upcoming magnum opus directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. “If he has a small role for me, I would love to be part of Spirit,” shared Ranbir. Directed by the renowned Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Spirit features Prabhas in a pivotal role. Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently immersed in the preparations for his next release, ‘Salaar,’ directed by Prashant Neel. (IANS)
Paul Rudd opens up on ‘very restrictive’ diet for Ant-Man
Actor Paul Rudd had to undergo a very strict, regulated and restrictive diet in order to build his physique for playing Scott Lang in Ant-Man films. During a recent appearance on the ‘Off Menu’ podcast, where guests talk about their ‘dream menu’, the show’s hosts Ed Gamble and James Acaster asked the actor what type of water he preferred to which he gave an amusing reply. Rudd said: “When I was having to train for the Ant-Man movie, and I was on a very restrictive diet, my reward was sparkling water. That’s how horrible that diet was. I was like, ‘Alright, I’m gonna have some sparkling water now, I’ve earned it’.” The actor said that during his rigorous training to get him all ripped up, and in proper shape, as a reward he would have a lot of ‘sparkling water’, reports Hollywood Reporter. Tom Hardy says Venom 3
has resumed production
Actor Tom Hardy has confirmed that production on his much-anticipated film Venom 3 has restarted. Venom 3 follows 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage and 2018’s Venom. Kelly Marcel, who wrote the first two films, is directing and writing the third part. Hardy returns as journalist Eddie Brock and his unwitting sidekick and parasite Venom, the otherworldly lethal protector in Sony Pictures’ universe of Marvel characters. ‘Thankfully we are back to shooting; and I want to take a moment just to thank all the teams thus far on the ride from V1 to here all our fantastic cast and crew- good friends and family – we’ve come a long way,” the actor posted on Instagram on Friday night. The news follows SAG-AFTRA’s approval of a tentative deal to end the 118-day actors strike. Hardy also praised Marcel in his post. (PTI)
Ozzy believes he’ll survive nuclear bomb if WWIII erupts
Rocker Ozzy Osbourne believes that there’s a chance he could survive a World War III nuclear blast on his mansion. He is turning 75 on December 3, and he said that if another global conflict erupted he’d invite his enemy to target his house just to see if he was tough enough to endure a blast. “If World War Three ever happens, and they start using the big (bombs), I’m going to put a big target on my roof! I wanna be right under the thing! I’ll just say… ‘I bet you can’t hit our house.'” “Even if they’ve got a 50-megaton bomb! Imagine if I crawled from the debris with half a body, shouting, ‘I’M STILL HERE!’ ” he told Rolling Stone magazine. The Black Sabbath star said about being given the trophy, ‘I wish I felt like a icon! I’ve had a long career, and I’ve raised a few eyebrows along the way. I’ve met some amazing people.
