NONGSTOIN, Nov 27: A first-of-its-kind in Nongstoin, the Martyr Eco Park cum Resort was formally inaugurated at Pungsior, Mawruhsyiar, Nongstoin, on Monday.
The grand opening ceremony was graced by former MLA of Nongstoin and Co-Chairman of MEDC, Macmillan Byrsat.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Macmillan Byrsat commended the owner of the establishment, Martyr Kharjahrin, for his entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering commitment to transforming his vision into reality. He acknowledged the park’s potential to not only serve as a recreational hub but also to generate employment opportunities for the local community.
Prior to the formal inauguration, the family of Kharjahrin demonstrated their philanthropic spirit by distributing gifts to eight underprivileged families.
The inauguration ceremony was further enriched by the melodious tunes of Nongstoin-based artists who captivated the audience with their soulful performances. Their vibrant renditions added a touch of cultural vibrancy to the occasion.
