Poor internet connection interrupts live chat with PM

NONGSTOIN, Nov 30: A live video interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was under way at a ‘Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat’ programme held at the Nongspung playground here on Thursday, was intermittently disrupted due to internet connectivity issues.
Following this, an awareness programme was conducted by officials from various departments, highlighting various central government schemes such as PMAY-G, PM Kisan, PMUY, MGNREGA, JJM, etc.
Others who were present include Additional Deputy Commissioner of West Khasi Hills, V Swer, officials from various departments, and beneficiaries besides the general public.
A health camp was also conducted by the office of the DM&HO of West Khasi Hills for people who may have been affected by tuberculosis and hypertension.
A pledge ceremony was also held, with all attendees participating.
