Shillong, December 1: In an ongoing operation, security forces successfully neutralized one terrorist in an encounter at Arihal village in Pulwama district, South Kashmir, as reported by officials on Friday. The police stated that the search operation is still underway.
As per IANS, the encounter started on Thursday following credible information received by a joint team of police and security forces regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. Upon cordoning off the region, the terrorists opened fire, prompting a counter-response from the security forces.
This incident is part of a recent series of encounters between terrorists and security forces across Kashmir, resulting in the elimination of numerous terrorists.
