Shillong, Nov 30: The Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2023 witnessed commanding victories on Thursday as Umphrup SC and Nongrah SC secured resounding wins in their Group B matches at First Ground, Polo.
In the first match of the day, Umphrup SC demonstrated their prowess by trouncing Imson SC with a convincing 5-1 scoreline.
Bannongkiew Khriem showcased a stellar performance with a brace, finding the net in the 43rd and 68th minutes.
Freddy Kharbyngar (25’), Shanme Warlarpih (31’), and Nangpynkhraw Kshiar (45’) also contributed with goals for Umphrup.
