Body found at Mawkyrwat market

Mawkyrwat, Dec 5: A lifeless body of a man was found lying at Mawkyrwat market, South West Khasi Hills on Tuesday afternoon.
Police informed that the deceased has been identified as Tyngshainlang L Marshillong (30), from Pyndenspar under Jakrem village.
An inquest was conducted and the body was taken to Civil Hospital Mawkyrwat for post mortem.
Police also informed that during the enquiry, it was learnt from the mother of the deceased that he has been consuming massive amount of alcohol for the past many days and has not eaten food since December 2. He left home on Monday evening and was last seen at Mawkyrwat market on Tuesday at 11 a.m in an inebriated state.
