Shillong, Dec 9: Shillong Lajong FC is set to clash with Aizawl FC in what promises to be an electrifying North-East Derby in Round 10 of the I-League. The highly anticipated match is scheduled today, at 2 pm in the SSA Stadium, Shillong.
Following their recent victory against Churchill Brothers, Lajong is geared up to take on their northeastern rivals.

In a pre-match press conference held today, Lajong’s head coach, Bobby L Nongbet, expressed his optimism about leveraging home support against the formidable Aizawl side.

Aizawl, currently positioned 5th on the points table with 14 points from eight matches, trails Lajong by just one point.
Head coach B. Malsawmzuala conveyed to the media that Aizawl is determined to halt Lajong’s unbeaten streak while commending their impressive display in the I-League.
