Unclaimed body
A male patient identified as Banteilad Lyngdoh Peinlang (29), a resident of Nongpoh, Donggate, was admitted in the CCU on December 8. The patient expired in the wee hours of Sunday. The Additional Director of Health Services, Civil Hospital, Shillong, has asked all concerned relatives to collect the body from the morgue of the hospital.

 

Order
All IMFL retail shops, bars in hotels, bonded warehouses, bottling units, country made spirit shops, breweries, canteens etc., located in Ri-Bhoi have been directed to remain closed on December 25, 2023, and January 1, 2024, on account of Christmas and New Year day respectively, informed an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, (Excise) Ri-Bhoi.
