SHILLONG, Dec 28: Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee president Vincent H Pala on Thursday stated that it is still unclear which part of the state Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will travel through on his 6,200-km ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’, which will take place between January and March and will take him from the Northeastern tip of India to its western shore.
The ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’, which will traverse 14 states and 85 districts, mostly by bus and foot, will start on January 14 in the violently unstable state of Manipur and end in Mumbai on March 20. It will conclude just a few weeks before the Lok Sabha elections.
Pala told The Shillong Times that since Rahul Gandhi will be travelling from Manipur and Nagaland, he will probably visit some areas of Ri-Bhoi.
The MPCC chief remarked, “But I am not very sure since I was not present in the meeting to discuss on the Bharat Nyay Yatra.”
