Despite Donald no longer serving as Bangladesh’s pace bowling coach, he took to Instagram to express his admiration for Shoriful’s outstanding contributions to the team.
Stepping into the shoes of the experienced Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful assumed the leadership of Bangladesh’s pace bowling unit, turning his New Zealand stint into a dream-like experience.
His exceptional performance, particularly in the T20I series, played a pivotal role in the team’s success, resulting in a drawn series. Notably, Shoriful clinched the prestigious Best Player of the Series award.
