President Murmu to inaugurate Meghalaya Games 2024 on Jan 15

Shillong, Jan 6: President of India, Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the Meghalaya Games 2024 at Tura on January 15.Informing this, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that the games would be historic.

Droupadi Murmu will grace the occasion as Chief Guest. The CM said the President’s  visit to the Meghalaya Games would will encourage the youths and participants of the games.

The President will be in Shillong next day after inauguration of the Games, to attend many programmes. It is learnt that the President would lay the foundation stone for the Shillong Ropeway project.
