Condolence
Members of Sanatan Dharmasabha (Harisabha), Laban, held a condolence meeting on Wednesday to mourn the sudden demise of Anjan Kumar Das on January 10, 2024. He was a ‘Life Member’ of Harisabha and the assistant general secretary of the present committee. “He was a man of great insight and vision. We remember him with great respect and admiration and he will be missed by all of us,” a statement issued here by the members said. The members also offered a floral tribute and observed a two-minute silence.
Meeting
The general body meeting-cum-election of Gorkha Association, Shillong, will be held at the Mawprem community hall, Garikhana, at 12 pm on February 11, a statement issued here on Thursday informed.
