Shillong, Jan 18: In the clash between Combine CC and Sanmer in the Shillong Cricket League 3rd Division 2024, Sanmer emerged victorious by 12 runs.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Sanmer posted a total of 151/9 in 20 overs. Banshan Dkhar led the batting with 57 runs in 29 balls. In response, Combine CC managed 139/9 in their 20 overs, falling short by 12 runs. Erich Lyngdoh contributed 27 runs, but it was not enough. Hubert Shanpru’s all-around performance earned him the Player-of-the-Match title for scoring 22 runs and taking 2 wickets.
In another intense showdown, Rising CC won the toss and elected to bat first but struggled to set a formidable target, scoring 73/10 in 16.1 overs. Bikash Lama top-scored with 26 runs. Momentum easily chased down the target, securing a victory with 74/2 in 8.1 overs.
