Body found
An unknown body aged about 60 years old was found near Paramount Hotel, Tura Bazar, in West Garo Hills around 9:30 am on January 14. After completing legal formalities, the 5-feet-tall body was shifted to Tura Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination. The corpse was kept at morgue room of Tura Civil Hospital. The deceased was swarthy-complexioned with white beard and moustache and was found wearing a Khaki jacket, an off-white shirt, brown vest and black pants.
