A dead fish afloat the Prang river in East Jaintia Hills exposes the threat to aquatic life posed by indiscriminate killing with the use of uncouth system that involves
use of Trinitrotoluene or dynamite which also leads to water contamination. The Seng 8-Shnong Aquatic Life and Environment Protection Council, East Jaintia Hills has asked the Fishery branch of JHADC to check this unscrupulous act. (ST)
