Local officer to oversee East Khasi Hills talent search

Shillong, Jan 27: The Talent Search Sports Development Association (TSSDA) has recently named Bisharlang Pyngrope as its Secretary for East Khasi Hills, marking a significant development in the sports community.
Hailing from Mawlyngngad village, Pyngrope, a dedicated teacher, has actively engaged in sports promotion initiatives. He currently holds the position of General Secretary at the Mawlyngngad Sports Social & Cultural Club.
In an official statement, Pyngrope highlighted the TSSDA’s mission to identify and nurture promising players, particularly in football.
The association aims to provide a conducive platform and environment for athletes to practice and enhance their skills.
This includes access to top-notch coaching, domestic camps, sports events, as well as national and international exposure.
Pyngrope emphasized that the TSSDA also extends financial support to identified players.
Despite being termed an association, TSSDA appears to function as a private company with its headquarters situated in Patna.
Pyngrope, known for receiving numerous awards and recognition for his contributions to teaching, expressed his commitment to aiding players in improving their football skills, especially those hailing from underprivileged backgrounds. He disclosed his role as one of the responsible individuals for the soon-to-be-launched Shillong football coaching center of Stadium FC, based in Bangalore.
Pyngrope looks forward to contributing to the growth and development of aspiring football talents through this venture.
